Participating in job experiences will increase the job readiness of each student.
The first stage of job experience is attending a field trip to learn about college choices and the workplace environment.
The second stage is job shadowing. Job shadowing is when students go to a workplace and follow a professional for several hours to see what they do.
The third stage is Internship and Cooperative Education placement. Internships and Cooperative Education placements can be paid or unpaid. These experiences allow the students to go to work and perform job skills while be mentored by the High School Instructor and the workplace mentor.
